Site Down with 502 Bad Gateway After Removing Hooked Plugin

Recommended Posts

My site is climbur.com. It was working brilliantly until i deleted a hook that contained a shortcode to insert a plugin called Responsive Thumbnail Scroller which I bought from Codecanyon. Now I get 502 Bad Gateway on EVERY page of the site, including the admin/login/backend.... so I can't make any changes.

Additionally, I recently installed the MemberPress plugin (about 10 minutes before removing the hook), but that seemed to be working fine on the site. It didn't seem to quit until IMMEDIATELY after deleting the hook with the shortcode (inbetween the header and the content).

What do you recommend I do to fix this? I'm totally stuck right now :)

Thanks for your help, as always.

Chris

You could try rebuilding the permalinks, go to ordpress main settings => permalinks and hit save. If that doesn't work i afraid its a host issue.

502 generally means nginx ( the web server ) cannot connect to the proxied php server.
