Testimonials Lud

I recently purchased this for our blog but I want users to submit their testimonial rather than having us do it from the admin area. How can we put "add new testimonial" onto a page so it is visible and accessible for users to submit and then have us moderate it? Thanks for any help.

What you are trying to do depends on your WP configuration. There are several good plugins that will help you with front-end post management. Try out Front-end Editor  or Live Edit .

I would also recommend to search wordpress.org for front end post management.

Thanks for the reply but this didn't answer the question. I purchased your plug in so people can submit their own testimonials and then I can list them by category or search option. Does your plug in do this? If not, I won't be able to use it.

Hello dvaldes,

I am sorry for misunderstanding. Testimonials Lud section does not support any front-end manipulation, including adding testimonials by site visitors.

There are free wordpress plugins that can help you out.

Associate an image with this testimonial> Upload Images opens the media pop-up, then if I select image from the Library, or upload a new image and "insert into post" nothing happens.
      Any ideas?

We have Testimonials LUD installed and it's great. Recently while adding a testimonial and testing a font size I suddenly noticed something I had not previously seen or knew was possible, namely that the section height was being responsive to the quote size automatically on scrolling to the next testimonial. The section was responsive on desktop as well as on mobile devices.

I do not know what I did to activate the responsiveness, but I wish I did because now the section is just as suddenly no longer responsive.

Is there indeed something I can do to activate responsiveness in the Testimonials LUD? Or was I only dreaming? :-)

      Thanks!

I just got this add-on section and have a (probably) really dumb question: How/where does one set up the actual testimonials? And then, how are those linked to the Section? There appears to be nothing in the Section edit area that specifies this.

      Thank you.

      Hi,

I spent a couple of hours yesterday working with Testimonials, and have found that there is a problem in Grid mode with Chrome.

      Please see the screenshot here:
      http://screencast.com/t/28KMGK0yQO

I've set it up to be in two columns, but it will only show as one column as you can see in the screenshot. This is not the case in Firefox. I'm using the most recent version of Chrome for Mac.
The screen width that I'm working with on my monitor is 1915px, so... plenty wide to show two columns.

Please let me know if there is a fix for this.

      Thanks,
      Bruce
