Two menu's in header

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was wondering if I can use two menu's in my header.

I now use Nav Classic on my website www.ruzzleonline{dot}nl.

What I tried was the Secondary Nav, but for every normal page I have to select which menu to show for the Secondary Nav section, that's to much work.

I now use the Customize plugin. I can start using a child theme, but I can't think a way that should help me.

So if somebody can help me find a solution, please :-).

Kind regards,

Willem

Hi Willem,

You can try using Brandnav and either Nav Classic or NavBar.

If you go to Dashboard > Appearance > Menus, look at Theme Locations (a box on the left). Select the main menu for Primary, then your second menu for the BrandNav. You can always reverse that if desired.

This will allow you to have two different menus on the same header, without the individual settings of Secondary Nav.

Hi, I used the Nav Classic and NavBar to create two menu's.

Ofcourse the NavBar needed some CSS styling because it is prestyled by Pagelines, but doing the CSS was not a problem.

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards,

Willem
