site> http://tinyurl.com/ccobof5

version 3.5.1

I have not been able to remove the pagelines logo w/menus that appears on the middle of the page.  Also cannot remove my name, which is the site name the appear on the upper, left area. Also noticed when I had selected the fixed navigation in my other site> http://tinyurl.com/b4z2fv2

, one of your moderators had to provide me with css to remove some of the arrows for the subnavigation(even though, some still show),  I dont see that happenning on this new site? >http://tinyurl.com/ccobof5. was there an update on that?

Enclosed an attachment

Thank you.

Hi Simon,

The name at the top left comes from the name of the site entered in Dashboard > Settings > General.

The bottom left is the default content of the Footer Columns. Just add new content in Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets to the Footer columns. They will appear empty, but once you add new content, the logo will be replaced.

I'm not sure what you're referring to regarding arrows. I don't see any or any subnavigation.

Thanks Rob, took care of that.

What I was referring to arrows, it was on the other site >http://tinyurl.com/b4z2fv2

If you hover over "properties" or "client advantages", there are arrows pointing to top, right, etc and you actuallu hover over the subnavigation, it shows blue?

I just wish I did not have any arrows and possibly options to change the colors on that. The simpler is better. no arrows. just like I had it on my old site other site> http://tinyurl.com/3slhflz

Yo, Rob, how can people have a full background on their site, yet still able to scroll down and add more stuff. here is an example of full background with the ability to scroll down > http://tinyurl.com/2flcpfo

Is that based on the theme used?

Hi there,

The full background will probably be a full width slider on the site, there's one in the Pagelines store like this called Wicker - http://www.pagelines.com/store/sections/wicker/

I'm unable to view your sites on the link above, the server just keeps waiting for a connection. If you mean these arrows - http://screencast.com/t/fdqqv81FYfNw

You can set them to not display using css on the .sf-sub-indicator class if you're using the classic nav

James,

Thanks on the full width slider.

Regarding arrows, it's not the one on my main fixed nav, but are the arrows that point up and to the side from the "sub" navigation >http://tinyurl.com/b4z2fv2. The prev site i build on platform pro, was simple >http://tinyurl.com/3slhflz

Now, what you mentioned above "You can set them to not display using css on the .sf-sub-indicator class if you're using the classic nav".  Currently using fixed, but even If I was using clas nav, I know to enter it on the ccs but not sure how to enter what you asking me to do.

Ah i see, that's not actually an arrow on close inspection, its part of the background-border. Took me a while to find that, try the below to remove it

.navbar .navline > .dropdown > .dropdown-menu:after {
    border-bottom: none;}

For the side arrow further down the list, this again is made using borders and css. The following edits seemed to remove it.

.dropdown-submenu > a:after {

    border-style: none;
    content: " ";
    display: block;
    float: right;
    height: 0;
    margin-right: -10px;
    margin-top: 5px;
    width: 0;
}

Hope that works
