hi there, I need to have a content box on my site with a fixed height and a scroll bar. Is this possible to do with boxes?

Hi,

Unfortunately, I don't think this is possible with the ContentBox. However, there is a store product that may be what you're looking for.

http://www.pagelines.com/store/sections/scrollex/

Alternatively, you could add HTML into the ContentBox which could give you a scroll effect, see the link below for a basic example.

I am not entirely sure as I do not have access to the product, but seeing as it is a section, it should be available in drag and drop.

great. So would you know if I could have a boxset and a content box side by side, or as in the case of the drag and drop they have to be 100% of the content area.

I am designing a homepage with a boxset with 12 boxes in it. and then need a scrollbar content box to be right of this, so that they are side by side.

Can I upload an image to show you what I am talking about

You cant have sections alongside one another out of the box, you will need to use custom CSS.

If all you're using is Boxes, and then want a scroller alongside them. I would suggest using the PageLines grid and the HTML scroller code I linked above

Positioning sections alongside one another is a bit of a pain to be honest and requires considerable custom CSS. The suggestion above using the grid I think would be the best method.
