position of breaker images

I have uploaded breaker images for the citi theme, but I don't know how to position them.  My images are all 1600x550.  I would like to be able to top left align them....or at least somehow get the part of the image to show up that I would like.  Instead, several of the images are actually showing only part of the bottom and then repeating the top of the image even though at 550px high they are more than enough to fill the 300px height of the space for the image.

Hi!

It's going to position them automatically in the center, and will cover the background of the break. There are no position controls, because when you scroll their positions move anyways. Do you have a link to your site where they aren't working?

Thanks for the quick reply. I see the background images being repositioned when I scroll. However the image never moves in relation to the break space, so I assume there is a way to adjust the starting position and my problem would be solved. It seems as though each break image is progressively loaded with a larger negative position. Can I send you a link without posting it on this forum?

The bg images, in those areas, are set with background:cover. So no matter what size image you use, it will cover the entire break space.  When you scroll, the bg image barely shifts. There are no additional controls for this area, it just works.

Did you happen to get this figured out? You can pm me your sites link if you don't want to post it here publicly.

I'm using Pagelines for some years now and had to change to responsive webdesign recently (Site Options - Layout Editor - Layout Handling: "responsive with % width" now instead of the former "static with pixel width").

In "Site Options - Header and Footer" - Branding Section: Social Icon Position" I set the distance from bottom to 35 and the distance from right to 1135 as it always has been.

Now the problem is that the social icons move with the width of the browser (IE, Chrome, Opera, Firefox: all the same) and thus out of the window if the frame is too small. Please try out on http://mobiwatch.de

I can't position social icons on the right side of the website because there are two sidebars with ads.

And I can't change back to static pixel width design because of Google: they will ignore websites that do not have responsive web design!

So I really, really hope you can help me fix that!!!

      Thanks in advance,
      Lutz

I'm creating a navbar by placing a 2-column section into the header. I placed our logo in the left section using mediabox. The right will be the navigation bar. I would like the bottom of the navigation bar to align with the bottom of the logo image. The tops are currently aligned. I'm guessing this requires css coding. I'm just not sure how to go about that in DMS.
A little guidance to nudge me in the right direction would be appreciated.
      Thank You,
      Steve

I need to override the settings in the Flyte form area. I downloaded ninja forms and even sprung for the style extension. But every time I try to change the color of the fields and text it defaults to that dark gray. How would I go about fixing that?

Details:  I'm using DMS and trying to modify a blog post page by adding a 2 Column Layout to the template section. The problem is that whenever I try to add the Post Loop component to one of the columns, the other one reallocates itself below the first column. Moreover, the reallocated column (whether empty or has another plugin added to it) doesn't allow me to modify its size nor I can move it at all.  I've included a video link explaining everything.

The citi theme has several issues with ie8.  Most of them are fixed with by the IE compatibility script.  The one thing it breaks however is the font awesome icons.  The icons actually appear for a second or so when the page is loaded and then are replaced by what appear to be unicode strings like f09a.
