I am using iBlogPro and would like it more mobile-friendly.  Is there a plugin or some way to do this?

Although I can view my site via mobile browser, I don't like how it looks.

Hi Cmhjon - can we have a link to your site please?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Hi Martin, currently the site is on our internal network.  I am working with my IT guy to try and get it so that it can be viewed publicly.

Is there a mobile theme that works well with iBlogPro that can be tied in?

Hi there,

IBlog Pro 4 was created before the web before the web became super mobile friendly. Your best bet would be to upgrade to IBlog Pro 5 which is fully responsive. As an existing customer our helpdesk team might be able to offer you a discount to upgrade to the Framework. Please drop them a line on hello@pagelines.com

Otherwise you'd be looking at third party mobile themes via plugins, I'm not sure how well they would work with the current edition of Wordpress though.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

Hi James,

Is there a site out there somewhere using iBlogPro 5 that I can view on a mobile browser to see how it would look?

If I upgrade to 5, is it a simple install?  I won't lose any of the work I've put into my site already will I???

Thanks,

Jon :-)

Hi,

You can find a demo of iBlogPro 5 here - http://iblogpro5.pagelines.me/

Please be aware before making any purchase that iBlogPro 5 is not a standalone theme like iBlogPro 4, it is actually a child theme of PageLines Framework. Therefore, inorder for iBlogPro 5 to function you will need to purchase PageLines Framework.

Upgrading to iBlogPro 5 is like installing a new theme, meaning your sites layout and design will be styled to iBlogPro 5. However, all of your content i.e. pages, posts will be preserved but any custom code used on iBlogPro 4 will not be, as its a new theme.

If you wish to proceed to upgrade to iBlogPro 5, I recommend contacting our helpdesk, before purchasing.

Hi Guys, I am still using iblo4, and something happen with the template that show part (footer) of the website in block colour when you access from a mobile phone. My site is www.cocoaosx.com

Could you please help me to fix it?

It seems that is something related to background image file type  but I could not identify which image file is and what is the correct file type.

Thanks

One of my clients is still using that theme under the original framework. For mobile, we're using WPTouch Pro, which is a wonderful plugin to make your site handheld-friendly.

I am using iBlogPro and would like it more mobile-friendly.  Is there a plugin or some way to do this?

Although I can view my site via mobile browser, I don't like how it looks.

Hi,

PageLines Framework is now free, as is iBlog 5, so could you explain what $99 price you're speaking about?

      Hi,

I have been using DMS and pagelines.
I am facing to a huge trouble with the appearance of one of my page on mobile (smart phones) built with pagelines.
However I haven’t come to any solutions to organise either edit the appearance of mobile view to look neat or deactivate the responsive function.
Now it looks totally messy on the phone...

      1. Is there any way to edit the appearance of the mobile version (responsive theme)?
      2. Is there any way to deactivate responsive function?

If I could receive support from you to go thorough this process I would be happy to be a pro member.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

This just happened to a site I'm working on. When I decrease width of browser to check for responsiveness...the pagelines content section is not responding???

While building my website, I set a padding of 5%, 25%, 5%, 25% so the text on the pages is not too wide.
However, it looks crappy on mobile.
How do I get the same effect and still have it look good on mobile?
      Example: http://yemoonyah.com/quiz

      Hi guys,
can I limit the overall of MegaNav on mobile? When I look at michaelkummer.com on a mobile device, the menu takes up more than a third of the screen space. Using CSS to limit max-height doesn't seem to work. Is there another/better way to reduce the overall height to maybe 10% of the screen available?
      Thanks
      Michael

      Hi,
Pagelines has great extension called "Tour guide", but on the mobile the sections don't break up in a user friendly way.  I attached an image with a mobile view, where the section is set to break with text-button - image instead of text-image-button.
      https://www.pagelines.com/product/pl-section-tourguide/
Is there an easy way to change that sequence?
