Is there a way to put a vertical rule between columns as a divider?

Hi there,

The easiest way to do this would be to apply a border-left/right to the column so it creates the divider for you.

Otherwise if you want a particular style or effect you could upload an image of the divider and either insert that into the content or apply it to the container using css to position it correctly.

Something like

col {
    border-right: solid
}

And put that in the page?

Hi there, yeah you'd need to specify the thickness of the line and the color, like

{border-left:1px solid black;}

Ok.

This is then placed in the <> custom code area? And if so, does it matter in what order all of the different code I have in that area is done?

I attached a screen grab of my custom code area

Hi there, yes all css will need to go into the custom code area, it doesn't matter which order the code is in, as a rule though its easier to just keep adding it to the bottom.

You'll need to format the css for the border-left like in my post above, giving it a width and a color. If you've not used css before in the framework see this guide which will give you an overview on finding the selector for the column - http://support.pagelines.me/docs/customization/custom-css/

For more information on the border element property and the different options/effects you can use with this command check out - http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_border.asp
