Whitespace with empty sidebars

Hi I was wondering if it is possible to eliminate the sidebar whitespace that seems to occur when it has no widgets being displayed.

I have the full width sidebar enabled with some widgets inside that are only active on certain posts/pages. However when nothing is active there appears to be some unnecessary white space. Is there any way to stop this happening?

In image 1 i have the full width sidebar active but with no widgets being displayed on that post, and in image 2 i have completely removed the full width siderbar from which removes the white space it was creating.

Hi lukeB

You can try add in

PageLines > Site Options > Custom Code > CSS Rules

or in

Pagelines Customize (plugin)

For example

one-sidebar-right #column-main .mcolumn-pad, .two-sidebar-right #column-main .mcolumn-pad {
    padding: 0px 27px 0px 5px;}

It is advisable to learn how to do this on your own too.

Check out

If you need more CSS help, make sure you've downloaded Firebug for Firefox

and check out W3 Schools for more info.

Also please be sure to watch our Firebug video tutorial here.
