Hi W

One way you'll be able to edit the appearance of the menu would be using some browser specific css and tweaking the various menu items in the layout so they align differently. Maybe editing the width of each li element.

You'd need the free browser specific css plugin http://www.pagelines.com/store/plugins/browser-css/ there's also a guide on the browser selectors here http://support.pagelines.me/docs/plugins/browser-specific-css/

Or you could switch to the navbar section, this has a built in mobile menu that comes up when switching to a responsive layout.

Excelent answer. Thank you.

Can I use navbar just for mobile devices instead of nav classic?

I might need a function to replace it for mobile devices...

You're welcome. The only way I can think to do that would be to put both the classic nav and the navbar in the header area. So you'll have two navigation bars on the site with the same menu.

Then set the navbar to 'hide by default' in the meta settings. So you don't see it on the standard site.

Then using browser specific css set the classic nav to 'display:none' on the mobile layout and the navbar to display.

It's not a very clean option, but should work. You're just be using css to hide one and display the other etc.

The navbar gives the same type of collapsed effect as the mobile menu plugin does- http://www.pagelines.com/store/plugins/mobile-menu/
