100% height CSS

Recommended Posts

Hey guys!

I've been attempting to add min-height:100% for a few days to no avail. I'm using content boxes and realize the html and body tags have to be set to position:absolute and min-height 100% as well to get this all to work but every attempt I've made has failed. Is there any help to make my content box sections full height of the browser on this page http://growthgroup.com/xero

I've tried many, this is what is currently in the custom css but also isn't working

html, body {
    height: 100%;
#site #page, #site #dynamic-content, #contentbox {
    min-height: 100%;
.section-contentbox .texture {min-height:100%}

Hi there, please see this thread for a possible solution to this - http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/25668-white-space-at-bottom-of-big-screens/page-2#entry151086

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

      I'm basically a designer and understand a little on how to change CSS, etc., so please excuse my ignorance...  I recently upgraded to the newest platform from the DMS and my old DMS theme no longer functions.  I'm trying to replace the image slider that my Horizon Photography Theme (Nick Haskins) had created.  The Impulse image slider seemed the closest to what I need, but there are problems.
      It seems the the Impulse section for sliding images defaults to the image width, no the height.  I can change the Impulse stage height and width, but this does nothing to the internal content.  For instance, if I change the height to 200 pixels, the image remains the full width and only shows a cropped section.  I would like the ability to change the Impulse height, and have the image height fit space.
      I've put this custom CSS in, but again, this only controls the stage height of Impulse:
      .pl-sn-impulse .pl-impulse-cell .cell-wrap, .pl-impulse-container, .owl-stage-outer {
        width: 100%;
      Any suggestions welcome.  Thanks

      Hi. I made this site: www.arvoredacidadania.org.br. In the part Quem Somos and Serviços I used different configurations (1 container and 2 texts side by side; 2 containers: each one with text; or just two texts side by side).
      The problem is the height. I tried CSS, etc, but when i change the width, change the height also.
      Any ideas?
      This picture is the example how i need to do.
      I need both textboxs with the same height.

      Hello everyone. :)   Is possible set a selected Section Area to height of window browser with custom CSS, just like DMS2 presets? Someone knows some best practice?   I know how to set to fixed footer, but i think this case of study is different.   Thanks!

      I am using the PageHeader component, but the default is really tall. I have found where I can change the prescribed height for the section (172px). I would like to shrink this down to 100px, but that messes with the position of the text. Can anyone tell me how to reduce the size of this section and still keep the Page Title vertically centered?
      Thank you,
