Hi, I have integrated Twitters embedded eimlines with API V1.1 in my website http://www.commonsense.ch (PageLines-Framework). The  embedded timeline works with IE, but it doesn't work with Chrome and Firefox.  Any suggestions are welcome. thx

Hi there,

Looking at the site it displays this end (firefox mac), are you only noticing this on certain pages? Like if the slider is visible? If so it could be the two are clashing somewhere.

Is this code being embedded via an iframe? It could be that the css set by the iframe doesn't match the container space you've pasted the code into. If you use the twitter widget as opposed to the iframe you should see a better result.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

Hi James,

I copied the script from Twitter (https://dev.twitter.com/docs/embedded-timelines) and pasted it into a text widget in the morefootmiddle area (Morefoot Sidebars in the Frontpage of my Website). The widget works in every other area properly, except when I place it in the Morefoot Sidebars. It looks like you had similar problems bevor (http://www.pagelines.com/forum/topic/15544-twitter-widget-frameworks/

Thanks

Hi,

I suspect this issue may come from a conflict between the javascript and the Morefoot section.   Please test the text widget in a sidebar other than the Morefoot and see if it works.

If it does, then the solution is to replace the Morefoot with the Universal or Full Width section and implement the Twitter code in either Boxes or WP-Boxer plugin.

If the text widget fails to work in any other section, then it may simply be that you need to reach out to the code developer or, as Catrina suggested, find a plugin.  I'm not sure javascript will successfully work in the Morefoot. Fortunately, there are many alternative options available to you.

Please let us know how this goes.

Hi Rob,

The widget doesn't fail in other sections. I guess the text widget just doesn't work properly in the Morefoot. I use now a plugin in order to display my tweets on the frontpage...  Thanks for helping me.

      Hi there!
I'd love to have some social media buttons in my navbar like my online-shop has!

Can someone explain me how to create them? I tried a lot but don't know how to realize them...

      Hi,
In the social links Twitter shows 404 error in the API. Example:
      "GET http://urls.api.twitter.com/1/urls/count.json?url=http://www.webbdo.se/cybe…onday/&callback=jQuery1113017799108568578959_1449307004771&_=1449307004772 "
This on all posts that have the "social links" and Twitter included.
      See example: http://www.webbdo.se/cyber-monday/
      How can it be fixed?

I'm getting an issue on page load with the status 'Waiting for urls.api.twitter.com' on http://www.johnhibbs.me/ which is causing a problem when trying to edit the site.
      Anyone else getting this?

Can anyone help me get twitter cards set up, or point me in  the right direction? I've seen a lot of how to's floating around, but none are specific to the DMS user, so I'm running into the problems because whereas the benefit to the DMS is the lack of needing to code really, but all the directive I have on installing it involves adding code someplace, and I'm not sure how to do this. I've set up my jetpack as described below, and I even have JM twitter card plug in--which I really thought was solving the problem. No matter what though, when ever I try to link or post t twitter is just posts a link as it always has. No picture of anything. Any advice on what to do would be great!

      Hi All

I am trying to implement a twitter widget using the twitter code in a morefoot section on www.magva.com
It should be appearing in the middle widget but as you will see, it appears during the loading and then disappears again.

Anyone any ideas on why this might be?

The only custom CSS I have for the morefoot section is:
      /* this changes the colour's in the morefoot and the font-size */ #morefoot { background-color: #404040; } #morefoot .widget { color: #ffffff; } #morefoot .widget-title { color: #ffffff; font-size: 92%; }  This is the code that I am getting from the twitter site:
