Changing Event Order

Recommended Posts

Hey Nick.  I've noticed that the plugin organizes the events based on when they were created.  Is there a way to switch that so they display based on the date of the event?  It's not an issue for a single event but for when there are multiple events in a month displayed on the events archive page.  They are displayed in order of when they were created and it feels a little counterintuitive.  Obviously there's the option of just changing the publish date but I guess I see that as a temporary solution.  Is this an easy fix or one you'd be willing to include in a future update?

Thanks,

James.

Thanks man!  Excited to try this out.  I have one other thing I'm working on and it's a tweak to your current layout.  Right now the design is great (I like it) but my client wants to change the display from the day to the month.  So, I'm about to jump into your code and tweak it.  That being said, if you want to make changing the display from day to month a part of your next update, I won't mind.

Having a problem with an EVENT Post from Caledarize It. The Calendar page looks fine but when you go into the event itself the layout gets all messed.
The Event calendar works fine and when you click on an event the page only works if you select only for "This event". The page needs to be for All events so they all look the same.
      Looks like conflicting code maybe?

      Hi, collegues!

I installed "Events Manager" (5.5.3) by Marcus Sykes, but it destroys my site (JavaScript?)

Would you say possible best ways to organize events area (business events, trainings, networking) on site?

May be you know some examples, some good WP (compatible with DMS2) or DMS2 plugins that can help me, may be you know some issures that i should to overcome or to avoid?

      Thanks and good day!

Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I could add a way for users to search through events (only events) on the front page?

Has anybody made any sort of 'Search' section yet, or any suggestions for other ways this could be accomplished?

Thanks in advance for any ideas you might share!

      Hi Nick,

Still one issue was not resolved.

The [event_agenda] short code feature does work, but it does not scroll like on the short code site

      Hi Nick

I am building a site with Pageslines V2 and I'm having an issue with the Events section. The agenda does not display other than the shadow around the box (div). If I use the default Pagelines install the Agenda works fine but if I use the Pagelines Base Child theme or the Simpliciate Theme I have an issue.

Can you offer me a solution please buddy. I have attached a screen shot to illustrate my issue.

      Thanks in advance.

      Cheers

      Gary
