Hi there,

I'd like to change the position of the nav arrows on the quickslider but can't find the relevant CSS to change, can you give me some pointers?

Cheers

Jamie

Hello Freshlydesigned

Could you link us to the site please?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Hi,

The element is easily found using Firebug.  Here it is:

a > span.sf-sub-indicator {
    background-position: 0 -96px;
    top: 0.6em;
}

However, modifying it isn't easy at all.  While the -96 can be increased in value, other components of the field must be moved to the right to accommodate it else it hides behind the text.

Ok thanks, will have a go.

Can you tell me which folder the arrow images are in if I want to change them?

Cheers

The image can be found here.

/wp-content/themes/pagelines/sections/quickslider/images/bg_direction_nav.png

What I recommend is for you to create a child section of the QuickSlider and replace the image there. Otherwise, if you replace the image from the QuickSlider from the PageLines parent theme folder, when an update is applied, your image will be replaced with the default.

To create a child theme section follow the instructions from this post.
