Can't change default sidebar on BLOG page

Hi

I can't seem to change the default sidebar on my BLOG page.

www.marcuswhitehead.co.uk/news

I can change the widgets in it, but I can't swap the sidebar for 'accordion' or 'drag and drop' sidebars. Every other page seems alright.

Equally, the check box to 'hide the three widgetised footers' doesn't seem to be having any effect. Again all other pages (& posts) are fine.

Any ideas? I did try the search, and it indicated that perhaps there is a coding issue on that particular page. I couldn't find it, could it come from within the posts that are on display?

Hi,

iBlogPro 4 is now considered a legacy theme and is now available for free via GitHub and therefore, we no longer support the theme. I recommend you contact our helpdesk and enquire about an upgrade, in your email to the helpdesk link them to this post.

I am having an issue with the size of the font in a text box widget on my sidebar. It has me completely baffled because I have two text widgets on my sidebar and the other one is displaying perfectly.
The sole difference between the two is the amount of text in the widget, but that can't be the problem.
My site is: loveandnudes.com and the text widgets are on the right side at the top.
I have duplicated the one with the issue and I am fiddling with it right now to see if I can find a solution. But I would love any suggestions. I though CSS would do the trick, but either I tried the wrong thing - or I put it into the wrong place.
      Thanks for your help!

Hey folks - I'm trying to get right of some 'dead space' at the bottom of the page in the Material Theme. (see attached) Those two gray lines have an "Edit" button in between them when the browser has a login cookie for the site. Here I created a screenshot from a browser session that doesn't have context for my main login, so you can see that the "Edit" indicator is gone, but the bars and the space it occupies still remains. Can someone help me isolate this so I can make it *completely* disappear? Thanks.

      Hi,
Is it possible to add a sidebar only for one post category? Without adding extra plugins or editing the theme code?
I have 4 categories of posts (blog post, news, job listing, case studies) but I want to have a sidebar only for the blog posts to appear.
      How can I do that?
      Thanks!
