Hi,

Is there an way to use a shortcode within a highlight? When I try it, it just displays the actual shortcode, not the output that should happen from using the shortcode. Thanks

Hi there, no unfortunately the shortcodes can't be used in the highlight section, the text areas in there do not accept html.

You can use a content box in place of the highlight section, or place the shortcode into a widget or box.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

Hi,

As an alternative, if your page structure allows it, you can insert a "highlight-like" area with HTML in your page in the normal content area.

The markup:

<section class="section-highlight" id="highlight">
<div class="copy-pad">
<div class="highlight-area">
<h2 class="highlight-head">Your Highlight Title</h2>
<h3 class="highlight-subhead subhead">The highlight subhead here</h3>
</div></div></section>

You can, of course, change the h2 and h3 tags to whatever flows naturally for SEO and insert your shortcode within the divs.
