New Page Template Area

Recommended Posts

I've searched for this and haven't been able to find anything in the forums, but how would I go about adding a Page Template Area?

For my specific solution I need to add a "Sub Header" between "Header" and "Page Templates. From what I've looked into code needs to be added to at least class.template.php, class.ui.layout.php, and class.ui.templates.php if not more.

Has anyone ever done this before? Also, I don't want it to be global in scope, I want it to be based on template like "Page Templates" is.

Please let me know.

Unfortunately, we do not recommend edits to the core files nor do we support it. If you wish to insert content between the header and the page, then you can do so with a hook.

You can find all available hooks here - http://api.pagelines.com/hooks

You can also use the ActionMap plugin - http://support.pagelines.me/docs/plugins/action-map/

Please search our forums, before posting!
