Page Background Image only showing up in Footer?

Recommended Posts

sugarshoots

I'm trying to set a background image (it's really just a PNG file of a light gray background), but every time I upload it, it only appears in the footer when I want it to be the content area, and/or the whole/most of the page if need be. Why would that be? I've even tried adjusting it on the site wide Pageline Global Settings page (even though I only want it on the "Portraits" pages - including the corresponding sub categories), but it also is only appearing in the footer. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi, could you share a screenshot of how you're applying the background? If by CSS, could you share the code used?

Thanks.

@cloudstem Could you please follow Robert's suggestion above and share your code/screenshot of your settings?

In the footer of my website, I can't find where Leasing is located. I have to remove it.

Hi I can't seem to get the background image for the Tour Guide section to be clear. It is always blurry. Any idea why that is? I am using a high res image. Is it a sizing issue? Thanks

I was surprised to see I had no menu today - out of the blue - its actually moved to the bottom of the page!  After hours of fiddling and disabling every single plugin, leaving just plagelines the issue is still present.  See video for a basic text box - I moved it into the head and it jumps to the bottom and shows just above the footer but below the main content.  I have a temp fix by placing the menu into the first row on the main content but it does mean other than my home page, all other pages have no menu.  A quick fix is very urgent for this bug.

      Hello,
sorry. i got a problem on my site i can not fix myself, would be nice somebody can help.
      I use:
      - Platform 5 (latest) Pro
      - Pagelines Framework (latest for Platform 5)
      - keycdn (cdn enabler, cache enabler und optimus WebP)
      - my site:  example
      Problem:
The background image i use in the Impulse Section is not beeing replaced automatically if i specify a CDN Url. I need to put in the cdn url to the image manually. Why?
If you look in the button of the the side you see post grid section, where i have no problems. You also see there WebP Images working.
Now i can not really use the direct cdn url for the impulse background image, cause i want to benefit there from WebP Image also in the background as it works in post grid section.
How does it works with Impulse? The webP image for the background is ready to use.
      Thank you.

OK - folks - back with another nit... The "back to top" link works - BUT - it's only active (i.e. clickable with the associated action following) when the mouse-over hovers over the footer area of the page. I did a quick change of the z-depth (to -1) and nothing made a difference. Any thoughts on how to make the *entire* back-to-top icon hover-able/actionable? Thanks!
