no top margins using the default page instead of highlight page

Is there a way I can insert an image underneath the subhead nav of the default page so it spans the whole width, no margins, no padding (top left 0)? Then return to text with the margins/padding? Exactly like how the highlight page's blue bg spans? I would just prefer the subhead nav not be below the feature box to keep site consistency. Thx.

Do you mean the whole width of the content body (960px) or entire width of the browser screen? Can I please get a link as well? Thanks, Bryan

Looking at your image: http://www.mcmanusdev.com/temp/screenShot.jpg I think I understand what you're trying to do. there is a great plugin that can help you do this. Go to Plugins > Add New and search for, install and activate: Custom Headers and Footers. Then you'll be able to edit it under Settings. You can add an image to it and it'll insert it in the area you want. Thanks, Bryan
