Need Content Management System

I have a client that needs to manage web pages on their own.  I would like to build the site with the Pagelines theme but they need a 2 column site.  I want them to have the ability to edit both columns without html or using the widgets.  It would also be nice if they could edit the content using the built-in Wordpress editor so they can view it as WYSIWUG.  Any ideas how I could use the curent version of Pagelines for this?

Hi,

You could apply the Content Box to a sidebar.  That way, they can add the desired content in both the WP editor and in the PageLines Meta Settings.

Another way might be using a plugin to make WP content appear in columns, but I don't think they use separate content, only wrap from one column to the next. This is slightly outdated, so I have no idea if it works. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/magazine-columns/

Otherwise, this is going to require a professional developer's attention. http://www.pagelines.com/pros

      Hi all,
I was totally excited to find out about 'CSS Hero' (http://www.csshero.org) I read about it in the compatible plugins section of the PL5 docs (http://www.pagelines.com/resources/compatible-plugins) For me it's a great way to more easily customize my sites because I'm not a CSS pro.
I'm wondering about one thing though… Does anyone know if using this will result in a heavy penalty on page loading speeds? Would love to start using it but only if it doesn't cost too much in terms of speed.
      Thanks, Jan

      Hello
I am using DMS 2 theme and I want to create a 2 different links on my website; each link should take you to a different blog post category. Although the process is easy, yet I can not figure out how to give each category page a unique design of its own; Any change I make on any page is applied to the other (I'm aware of the universal elements like the header and footer and I a am not talking about these.)
Since I am new to wordpress in general, I am not sure if my description is sufficient; apologies if it is not.

      Dear fellow forum members,
It has been months, if not years, since I got the latest DMS version. And I haven't been able to get myself to install it on my blog...
A few months ago I took on a new job and I now know for sure I will never get to it.
So, my question: is there anyone out there who is experienced with DMS and would be willing to do this for me.
In all honesty, I will need help with everything, from rethinking the content (structure), to deciding on illustrations and colours.
I am though, willing to pay for this.
Thanks in advance for your kind answers.
