Bootstrap buttons

I noticed that the PageLines shortcode for buttons defaults to type="info" if no type is specified. Why is it not the same default as Bootstrap's default ( http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/base-css.html#buttons )?

I tested "danger" and it actually resulted in the Bootstrap default/silver button.

I tested "default" and it did the same.

In fact, adding type="anything-that-is-not-recognized" results in the Bootstrap default/silver button.

1) is type="default" the recommended/approved way to get the default/silver button?

2) why does "important" make a red button but "danger" does not?

3) I tried type="link" and it didn't generate the Bootstrap 'link' button type. How can I get that?

4) Why is the button size "small" not supported? Only "mini" and "large" are supported per http://demo.pagelin.co.in/framework/tools/ . Can you add support for "small" size?

5) I noticed http://demo.pagelin.co.in/framework/tools/ documentation does not mention type="primary" or how to get the "default" button. I think it should.

6) Can you add shortcode support for the "disabled" class?

Thank you.

Hi Cliff,

Some of your questions, as far as I know, are controlled by sources outside our control.  Others may well be, but I can't be sure because I'm not a developer.

These are not technical support topics, so I'm moving this topic to Ideas and Feedback.

I'm sure the developers will consider them for future updates, when and where possible.

Rob, as long as the right people see it within a reasonable time period, that's ok. But I don't want it to be ignored or forgotten. Thanks.

Hi Cliff,

1. Yes

2. We simply changed the name from danger to important, as we feel its more fitting. You can add support for danger if you like.

3. Hasn't been added from what I can see. However, I don't really see the need, as it just looks like a standard link.

4. Small is not available via shortcode but is via HTML, to test this, simply copy and paste the HTML code provided by Bootstrap examples.

5. Primary is mentioned on our Shortcode documentation - http://support.pagelines.me/docs/miscellaneous/shortcodes/

6. Disabled is available via HTML, see #4

Any chance of a pagelines table plug-in coming? I know that the use of short codes and bootstrap can achieve this, but I can't seem to find any easy/visual editor way of doing this. There are table plug-ins around for wordpress, but honestly, they are pretty clunky. I'd pay for a tables plug-in, given how much I would use tables if I could.

I checked the demo for the new bootstrap theme (http://themes.pagelines.com/bootstrap/) and I really liked the slider on it. I suppose it was not done using 'impulse' or 'flick slider', was it? How was it done?

Element buttons still need some work to look good on mobile view. They both need to align correctly and with a gap.

I think it would be good to make the element section buttons a little neater on mobile.
