Simple Padding Issues ?

Hello,

I have a seemingly simple padding issues question that has continued to stump me. I'd like to univerrsally get rid of all padding. My site is here: http://www.philosophymuse.com/highlights/

However, when I try

.content-pad {

    padding: 0px;
}

It does nothing.

I've even tried to edit the padding of each section with no luck?

Any advice??? Thanks!!!!

Danny,

I bet this is the problem. However, I still can't seem to get it to work. I am not really sure how to use the #site and #page indicators. I have tried dozens of combinations. Can you help me see how I would enter this information in if I wanted to change the .content-pad {

    padding: 0px;
}

on the whole site and also on a singe page?

Thanks!!!

#page .content-pad {.....
