iblogpro5: Migration from Professional to Developer

Recommended Posts

ramon

Hello,

on my site I have PageLines Framework  Professional + iblogpro5

All good, but we need a forum  too (Vanilla).

Well, today we bought PageLines Framework Developer.

And now?

What should I do to migrate from Professional version to Developer without losing everything on our site? (posts, configuration, etc...). We don't want lose all old work.

Could someone give me a list of things to do?

I'm not a developer, I need only a forum inside our site.

I hope someone will help. Be patient.

You won't have to re-install Framework or lose all of your work - you just need to reset your credentials in PageLines > Dashboard > Your Account, enter your credentials again, and the Framework should switch automatically from Pro to Developer.

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Does this work in reverse too?

Meaning that if I build a site using my Pagelines Developer license but the client wants me to hand over the reigns, if I remove my credentials and they buy the Pagelines Professional Standard license with that allow them to continue to get the framework updates?

thanks.
