Conflict with Time.ly

Recommended Posts

Time.ly reports a conflict with Pagelines.

Conflict with 1.9 and Pagelines Theme LAST UPDATED: JAN 16, 2013 08:24PM PST
This applies to the following calendar editions:  Standard, Pro

What is it?

There is a conflict  the Pagelines theme and the Timely Calendar. This conflict may cause the entire site to crash.

Technical Details

Both Pagelines and the Timely Calendar define the class "lessc_formatter_compressed" (they both use the same LESS compiler). The Timely Calendar is designed to make a check to see if the class is already declared before declaring it ourselves. PageLines does not do any such check, and thus it crashes WordPress.

Solutions or Workaround

Unfortunately there is no current workaround for the conflict. The developers of Pagelines have said that they will fix this in their next update. Until then we recommend either using another theme or holding off on your upgrade.

Has this been fixed?

I spoke with the developer and this was resolved in Pagelines 2.4.

Hey team, I've been chasing a conflict this morning and have found that DMS 2 is altering the layout of my Calendar plugin. If you check the link you can see the calendar with a blue band running across the month displaying the date for each day. Notice how it's not properly aligned? I changed the theme to twentyfourteen and it looks fine. Any idea how I might fix this? Cheers Barney

      Hi there,
I am using the Timely Calendar and the CSS behaves strange with Pagelines (normal with Twenty Twelve). You can see it on this page, hovering over the event on the right: http://www.junges-ensemble-berlin.de/chor/
The title of the event in the Popup is somehow "behind" the rest of the text.
      How can I fix this?

      Good Morning.
I have just started attempting to integrate the Timely all-in-one calender event plugin with my website. I want it to be dedicated to a single page, outside of my blog. The problem I am having is that the events I'm adding are coming up in my blog, and not on the page that I designate. And so I am getting this on my designated 'WHERE WE ARE' page:
And this on my 'BLOG' page:
In addition, when I navigate away from my blog page, then return to it. The post has disappeared.
As per usual It is probably something obvious that I am failing to understand, but any help would be really appreciated.
