Is there any way to have the 3 columns in the Morefoot area be a different width?

Hi There

Do you mean to have, for example, One Column 300px and the other two remanning columns something like 400px?

The answer to many issues can be found by searching in the forum before posting as someone else  may very well have had the same problem before you have.  Also, reading the documentation can help you gain a good understanding of how everything works.

Hi there, the only way to do this would be to override the system defaults by using custom css if your using the morefoot section. You'd need to edit the width and margins/padding for each widget inside the sidebar to create the appearance you're looking for.

If you've not used custom css before please take a look at http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/Custom_CSS to see how to find and apply the correct code inside the framework. For a deeper look at css and further guidance please see http://www.w3schools.com/css/

Thanks for your responses.  I've tried all kinds of ways to get the CSS to work, and nothing has so far -  I just don't know what to call... I'm new to CSS, any additional CSS help would be very helpful

I tried:

#morefoot morefoot-col.recent-posts-2 {width:10px;}

#morefoot recent-posts-2.widget_pad {width:10px;}
#morefoot morefoot-pad.recent-posts-2 {width:10px;}

etc...

Hi there,

You're using the format for your css, i think theres a minimum width set so if 10px don't have any effect if it's under the minimum width limit. To override that you'll need to use !important. I've pasted an example below for you which gives this effect on the middle column - http://screencast.com/t/nCpfNSBRVw

#recent-posts-2
.widget .widget-pad {
    padding: 10px;
    width: 400px !important;
}
