Transparency footer text widget, how to remove it.

Recommended Posts

How can I remove the transparancy/opacity that's been added to the paragrapgh text and titles of a text widget placed in the footer?

The text is set to white (#fff) but it looks more pink due to the red background. How can I remove this? According to firebug it's a placeholder element?

An example can be seen on this demo page http://demo.frisweb.nl/

Your site contains the following CSS:

#footer {
    clear: both;
    color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6);
    position: relative;
    text-align: left;
}

The 0.6 in the color code is setting an opacity of 60%.  Changed to 1.0, the text in the body of your Sidebar turns an opaque white.

Using Firebug, you'd be able to find this in moments.

The same applies to the widget title:

#footer li.link-list a, #footer .widget-title {
    color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6);
}
