Ok, I'm having problems with my custom post types showing on my front blog page along with my regular blog post, here is a link to the custom post type (sample post) ==> http://www.definitiondjs.com/musiclibrary/this-is-a-post-title-test/ ..... my custom fields doesn't show, Why?
Also, when I edit the custom post, all the fields change to blank (the previous text that was in the field is somehow deleted), why?
Pageline Frameworks: 2.4.5
cpt plugin is: WCK, here is a link to the site ==> http://www.cozmoslabs.com/docs/wordpress-creation-kit-documentation/
I linked snapshots of the custom fields area, which doesnt show after publishing or after clicking edit this post:
Summary, I would like my custom post to display on my front page, along with my blog post.
Also I would like to have an option to hide post from showing on front page, but I would like for all posts to show in search, archieved and category, even if hidden from the front page.
Thanks in advance!
Sorry in advance for what must be a really obvious question...
On my site:
I have had a static frontpage for a long time. I have just switched to a blog roll style front page. When you open the page you get the front page and it looks good, but can I now add a tab to the nav bar which links to this page?
I used to have a 'Home' tab which linked to the static front page but now I can't work out how to have a 'Home' tab which links to the live front page...
I am using PageLines Lite and had my site set up to show the latest posts on the front page. This was working fine but recently has reverted to showing my home page instead. I don't believe that I have changed anything to cause this. Under Settings->Reading in the WP dashboard 'Your latest posts' is correctly selected and if i change themes to TwentyTwelve the site performs correctly - with the latest posts page displaying as my front page. However, when I change back to PageLines theme it reverts back to displaying my home page as the front page instead. Anyone any ideas?
My client wants a "Contact Us" widget similar to the one in the attached picture.
How am I able to make something like this? Does PageLines have a Drag&Drop feature that is like this, a recommended plugin, or widget where I can put this on my clients site?
