problem with css customization in firefox

2 posts in this topic

hey guys,

i have been searching in this forum for css code to change the size of my headlines and delete the border arround the thumbnails on my blogroll...

yes, i used firebug too ;)

this is the code i use right now:

/*Change Font Size for H2 Title Headings*/
h2.entry-title.entry-title a {
color: #fff;
font-size: 24px;
text-shadow: 0 1px 0 rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.15);

/* ==== POSTS ==== */
.post-meta .c_img {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #fff;
    border: 0 solid #fff;
    box-shadow: 0 0 0 transparent;
.post-meta .c_img .hentry
.c_img {
    border: 0 solid transparent;
    display: block;
    line-height: 0;
    max-width: 98%;
    padding: 0;
.post-meta .c_img img {
    box-shadow: 0 0 0 #ffffff;

unfortunately the code is only working in safari...not in firefox...

so when i open the page with safari...everything is just like i want it to be.

when i open it with changes appear.

safari: post-33208-0-48139700-1357520192_thumb.p

any idea what the problem might be?

thanks in advance...

The issue you have is that you have not entered code for Firefox, so the box shadow for Firefox is probably still loading, see the link as an example.

Also, in future I recommend you read up on CSS3 at W3 schools, as this is not a PageLines issue but a problem with your custom CSS.

      Hey Guys, i have been having some fun with PL5, on my test site, still learning and trying to master 3 sections a day, am happy the launch has been postponed its for the best lets master it as much as possible.
      But we still gat to eat with DMS for now, so my issue has been on how to reduce my pin pad size in pinspro, right now it display 3 in a row, like the default theme, but i want it to display 4 in a row, if i reduce my screen resolution to 90% it becomes 4 in a row, that is the perfect size, i cant see any css on the forum be able to reduce the size,  so guys please, please this is very important, i need the css to adjust the size, of all the css @Danny has provided on the forum i cant see anyone that focus on the size reduction except on hiding the bottom meta area, mine is just to reduce the size, checkout the images below, the image with 4 rows is the perfect size i crave to have, while the pinpad with 3 rows is what i currently need to change.
      Thanks Guys for your support all this while.
    • CSS Hero question
      By janpeeters+
      Hi all,
      I was totally excited to find out about 'CSS Hero' ( I read about it in the compatible plugins section of the PL5 docs ( For me it's a great way to more easily customize my sites because I'm not a CSS pro.
      I'm wondering about one thing though… Does anyone know if using this will result in a heavy penalty on page loading speeds? Would love to start using it but only if it doesn't cost too much in terms of speed.
      Thanks, Jan
    • WooCommerce Checkout page broken under DMS
      By nizami+
      Seem to have fallen foul of a DMS2/WooCommerce issue.
      All pages display correctly save the WooCommerce Checkout page, which looks like this:
      Help massively appreciated as this is the last blocker before client site launch
    • DMS editor timeout in Chrome - how reinstall safely?
      By jeomiland+
      Was on the phone with client yesterday reviewing the site and the server slowed way down. Did a couple updates that may not have taken. Now cannot get back into the DMS editor for  I can see the site in chrome and firefox but the background image is no longer there. Can get into dashboard in chrome and firefox. Cannot get into DMS editor in chrome - get "Oops, There may be an issue loading." error no matter how many times I try.  My internet connection is not the fastest, but I can access other sites I've built in DMS - just not
      My question is,
      1) is there a safe way to reinstall DMS that will not trash the work done on the site?
      2) Is there a way to see if something in the database got corrupted and how to fix? Since I can't get into DMS editor, can't get to the Flush Cache page to try that.
      Just turned on
      define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    • Hide thumbnails on single post / Show thumbnails on archive posts and other aggregate pages
      By King Creative Design+
      Hi, I'm trying to show thumbnails on aggregate pages like category, archives etc., and hide thumbnails on single post pages. I have searched the Pagelines forum and followed some of the instructions given to other users with no luck. Below are two links, one is to a single post, and the other is an archive list. Right now the thumbnails are turned off in the WP postloop.
      Both pages are on separate templates, and I tried setting the single post page to loccal and it still seems to keep the thumbnail option as a global setting.
      Thanks for your attention,
