Font Sizes

Recommended Posts

I've inserted this into the style.css to control fonts sizes:

h1 {
font-size: 1.7em;
color: #7f8d48;}
h2 {
font-size: 1.7em;}
h3 {
font-size: 1.5em;}
h4 {
font-size: 1.3em;}
h5 {
font-size: 1.3em; font-weight:300;}
look reasonable?  is it better to use em, px, or percent?

Hi there,

If you adding custom code are you adding it to Pagelines>site options>custom code or to the style.css inside the base theme or the customise plugin. We don't advise you enter or amend any core files as they will be wiped on update.

Using em in the css is ok.

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

Its all been put in the style.css.

my question is whether there is any preference regarding using em, px, or percent for fonts.  in particular, have you found that one spec vs another functions better for the responsiveness of the thee?
