tags rearranged when page is edited...?

Buttons becoming unclickable: Client swears that every time page is edited, a typo fixed, etc, the register buttons at the bottom stop working. We simply found some a tags that were not closed properly...fixed it, then page is edited and a tag becomes mysteriously opened again. Pre fix: Fixed, but reverts to above code if page gets edited...:

I'm assuming you made sure to check all errors via W3C? Have you properly educated/walked the client through updates? This could be a problem with the editor; Plain Text Vs. HTML? Perhaps you're both on making edits at the same time? Thanks, Bryan
