keithfoustgmailcom 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2010 awesome Pagelines team! Thanks for all of your help so far! Our site has launched officially and we are getting alot of new feedback about the site. www.joychurchinternational.org We are still making changes and so we have a new question for you. If you take a look at just about any of our pages linked off the main menu bar, you will see we are using the full width highlight design on most pages. in this design, we have embedded an image into the css of each highlight area on each page. to get the highlight banner to show, we have to add some text into the highlight areas. We are simply adding html header tags into the title and text areas. in the text area, we are also adding 5 break tags in order to get the banner to expand to the size of the background image we have embedded. (the problem with this is, different browsers display the box at different heights - so we are just kind of throwing in images where you cannot tell the difference) question - is there a way to actually set the highlight area size and make it permanent across all pages? instead of the workaround we are doing with the text? also...just my opinion....but it would be awesome if this was somehow built into the next version of iblogpro so that you could easily add images and modify highlight areas just like you can with the features administration screen. thanks! cmunns 16 Report post Posted August 23, 2010 You could assign a height for the highlight area with CSS for example: `#highlight {height:400px;}` Also, those images are taking some time to load. Make sure they are optimized and maybe look into a caching plug-in

briandouglas23 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2010 Hello. I too would like to use a larger image with the full-width feature template. When I try adding an image that is longer than the 540px max width, it is getting cropped. How do you add a full width image without it getting cropped? Thanks, in advance.
