Blog Templates Not Resonding To Changes

Recommended Posts

Hi,

When I make a change to a page via the pagelines section in Page Edit none of these changes are taking place. I recently changed hosting and I had a Mod issue setting which needed to be changed to allow page settings in the main pagelines menu to take place - is this something similiar?

There should be a number of widgets showing on the left

Thanks

Lynsey

Hi Lynsey, the first thing i would check is if you have any caching plugins installed and active? These could be masking changes. If you do please dump the cache file in the plugin and deactivate the plugin. Then clear the browser cache and refresh to see if the layout changes take place.

If that doesn't work, see if deactivating any other third party plugins allow changes to take place.

If neither of the above applies let us know

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

I have this same problem. i don't have any cache plugins.  only plugins i have is akismet and hello dolly.

When i use drag & drop to remove items, after refreshing it still appears on my homepage. I've removed the Quickslider from the content area of my default page, yet it is still there. Even if I add other components to the content area, it's still there. i've tried clearing the cache of my browser and restarting.

Hi there, please try disabling all active plugins to see if there is a js conflict which is affecting the admin area.
