iBlogPro - How to move search form to inside the top nav bar?

Recommended Posts

Hi, My install came with the search form under the nav bar. I'm wanting to move the search form to the top nav bar, like you see at Apple.com. How do I do this? Thanks, Jack

I'm going to up this.. it's happening here to Safari Version 5.0 (6533.16). Rather annoying considering the price tag that it doesn't come out of the box looking like the demos do. -Robert

Further note.. this is caused when the main menu is not customly generated through the menu system in wordpress 3.0+ By default the theme displays the pages in the menu. If you go into the menu settings in the wp-admin page and create a custom menu and create links to the pages instead and set it as the main menu it works but is still rather annoying.

That is correct. If you are using WP3.0 but haven't updated or recreated your main menu you will have the search bar below the nav. There are many posts on this in the forum. Unfortunately just as we have to update our system for WP updates so do all the users if things are to work as expected :)

Thanks Robert Payne. I did this: "go into the menu settings in the wp-admin page and create a custom menu and create links to the pages instead and set it as the main menu it works" and it worked like a charm! Thanks again.
