Center Feature Slider & Remove Links

Recommended Posts

Hi.

I am using a feature slider as a gallery on this page: http://gastownwellness.com/GPP/gallery/

When I select the default feature set, it displays in the center of the page fine, however when I select my gallery feature set, the images are aligning left, as you can see.  Can someone tell me what im doing wrong and how to center the feature slider?

Also, I am wondering how to remove all linking from this feature set.  Right now, clicking on the images reloads the gallery page, which is something I don't want to happen.

Thanks!

Hi there, to center the slider on that page add the following css to Pagelines>site options>custom code. Replace x with the page id for the gallery page.

.page-id x #feature_slider {
    margin: 0;
}

Hi.

Thanks I will try that.. however, I don't really want to do that for every page I put feature sliders onto.

I am wondering more, WHY it is not centered with the feature slider that I created, when it IS centered with the default slider is displayed?

An explanation would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

I would imagine it a conflict of names with something else built in to Wordpress or Pagelines

Also wondering about removing the links from the features.  Is there a way to do this?

I don't want any of the images to link to anything.  Right now they are linking back to the homepage.  Looking for a solution that lets me use a feature slider as a gallery on some pages, and as navigation on others - that is, the feature on the front page will link to pages, whereas the feature on the gallery page will not.. any ideas?

Thanks
