Dear all,

This is the first time in to years I am actually looking for something I can't fin in Pagelines. For our syndicated news site, I would like to create a "pinterest style" layout: showing a page filled with pics (and titles, if possible) for our syndicated posts. Any idea as on how to make that happen?

Thanks,

Eva

Hi there, sure you can use our Postpins section. http://www.pagelines.com/store/sections/pagelines-postpins/

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

      Hi,
Meganav seems to have a bug if you upload a Logo with a higher resolution (which actually is useful as it looks then sharper on mobile phones). But on mobile the Logo is then larger than on a desktop. Problem is the following code in the meganav style.css. Simply the "height: auto !important" needs to be removed.
@media (max-width: 480px) { style.css?ver=5.0.14:133 body .meganav-logo img{ height: auto !important; } } But how to achieve that? What is the standard method for customizing that? Overriding via CSS / LESS doesn't work - in this case especially because of the !important derictive used in the original CSS I believe.
Changing the original CSS is something I don't want to do as it leads into issues when upgrading.
Btw: I seem not to be the only one with that issue - anyhow, the solution here (not displaying the Logo on mobile) is not acceptable for me.
      Thanks,
      Volker

My client has just flagged up a problem with the Pinterest share button. When they click it on any of theor blog entries Pinterest comes back with the following error:
Parameter 'image_url' (value http:) is not a valid URL format.
I've checked this myself and it does indeed happen. The post has a featured image, these are using standard Pagelines DMS sections and the the site is totally up to date.
      The page is here: http://www.technicasolutions.co.uk/5-questions-to-ask-your-prospective-new-it-support-company/
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm trying to show thumbnails on aggregate pages like category, archives etc., and hide thumbnails on single post pages. I have searched the Pagelines forum and followed some of the instructions given to other users with no luck. Below are two links, one is to a single post, and the other is an archive list. Right now the thumbnails are turned off in the WP postloop.
Both pages are on separate templates, and I tried setting the single post page to loccal and it still seems to keep the thumbnail option as a global setting.

      Thanks for your attention,

Hi there, wondering if there is a way to hide or turn off the flipper thumbnails, so all you have are the blog titles (and dates)? I've searched and haven't seen this question asked before. Thanks!

This is driving me CRAZY. I want thumbnails showing on the left on my homepage ONLY.

I want ZERO thumbnails showing on the individual post page.

I have tried and tried to get this to work and it will not. PLEASE HELP ME.

I followed this tutorial here: http://www.pagelinestheme.com/controlling-post-thumbnails/

I've also attached a screen shot of my "current" settings though it's not doing what I think it should mean.
