I use the html code

<div id="cable-search">

<header id="header">

<form role="search" method="get" id="searchform" action="http://url.com/documents.php" >

<input type="text" value="" placeholder="" name="s" id="s" />

<input type="submit" id="searchsubmit" value="Search" />

</form>

</header>

</div>

and it creates the search option but doesn't work, it does not return anything.

could anyone help me with it? thanks

In which file are you adding this? Please keep in mind that you shouldn't edit core theme files directly. You'll need to use base theme to edit files: http://www.pagelines.com/wiki/How_to_Use_the_Base_Theme

Please read the docs before posting. Please do not private message me unless I ask you to.

Hi I was trying to build some extra php documents to support and show the database.

And then upload them to the web site.

I know there is no relationship to the PageLines Theme,

Thanks so much if anyone could help me

What exactly do you mean by show the database? If you're trying to add a search option, you can probably use the default search that's available with WordPress. Have you already tried this?

Hi there, let us know if you managed to get this sorted. If you need specific help in customizing the site take a look at the pagelines pros.

www.pagelines.com/pros/

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
