handdasasrl 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2012 Hi all, I have a big problem, with certain (not all) drag & drop operations modifiing the layout of pages and so on, the system freeze and I have to restart the browser, otherwise the error "400 bad request" is the only answer I obtain from the browser. When I restart the browser all seems to be ok until I try again the same operation. I tried with different browsers (IE, Chrome, Mozilla) whit different S.O. (Win, Linux) but nothing change. The log of apache on the server tells me "error on reading the headers" every time. WP version is 3.4.2, PL is 2.3.3, Apache 2.2.22 on Ubuntu 12.04.1, plugins activated are just nextGen gallery, qTranslate and WP Maintenance. Due to this problem is not possible to change the content layout in any way, whereas, for example, is possible to change the layout of the sidebar (trying to drag & drop the same components) at all. I'm not able to find a reason on that... please help me if you have any useful suggestion... Thanks. Corrado
Danny+ 1,327 Report post Posted October 25, 2012 HI Corrado, Can you disable all active plugins and see if the problem persists, if it does we can rule out plugins causing the issue. Can you also provide your PHPinfo and enable PageLines debug please. Find your PHP info here - http://codex.wordpress.org/Finding_Server_Info Once you have followed the steps, please provide a link to the info. To enable PageLines Debug, go to PageLines > Site Options > Advanced and check the box for Debug. Please search our forums, before posting!
handdasasrl 0 Report post Posted October 25, 2012 Tanks in advance. I already tested the solution of disable all the plugins before post the message on the forum, without success... Rob 547 Report post Posted October 27, 2012 Corrado, I'd suggest then, going to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and save without changing the settings. That may reset some links. Former PageLines Moderator, Food Expert and Raconteur
handdasasrl 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2012 There is no way... I remove all the plugins, update the framework, refresh permalinks but nothing change. Some operations are not possible. For example when I try to go to "Page Options" section of the theme, the system apparently leaves me to do every operations, but as soon as I try to save the changes or, even without changes, I try to go to any other section of the administration, the same error occur and I have to restart the browser (or clear the cache). Whereas if I change the specific meta parameters of the framework inside the single page, all work fine... This is driving me crazy...
