Sponsor Slideshow

Recommended Posts

Remko Lodder

Dear people,

Does someone know of a plugin that can do the following:

Show an image of a sponsor for X seconds, and then move on to the next one. (Slideshow).

Use the image to get to the sponsors page listed somewhere else on the site (a href comes to mind).

I tried doing that with nggallery, but sometimes the slideshow didn't work, and using the JWplayer is just plain ugly. In addition I was not able to make it a reference to the sponsors page, but instead it moved on to the next image.

Suggestions are kindly appreciated :)

Thanks

Remko

Quick slider would work.

Sponsor carrousel is broken. Instead of doing a slide show and rotating images, it just prints the images below eachother, which shouldn't be. The linking is good though :)

Quick Slider cannot be used as a widget right?

Thanks a lot for thinking along!

You can't use it as a widget no, but you can still put it in the sidebar template as far as I know

ah yes in the wrap section. Would it be possible to select a gallery or a pool of images instead of specifying 10 max? (We have around 34 at the moment) :)

This is actually an outdated plugin, but I use it on my own site and it works. There is a considerable risk that it will fail at some point, but, the effect you're looking for can be found here by setting it to use an image only, rather than image + title + excerpt as I do. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/recent-posts-slider/

It has some easy to find CSS elements that can help you style it as you wish.
