Customize Standard Navbar

I'm sure this is somewhere already posted, but I was unable to find any solution in the forums. I am trying to change the color of my Standard NavBar. I am running both the classic and the standard. I am using simple css lite and it customizes the classic just fine, but I cant seem to figure out how to change the html color for standard. Please help!
