(Less) Font Awesome To Create Home Icon

Recommended Posts

WebIT

I created a nice looking home button using {LESS} and Font Awesome under custom menu item seen here.

I can't get it to center or align left.

I tried:

<div style="font-size: 18px; text-align: center;"><i class="icon-home icon-large">  </i></div>

Any reason why this isn't working?

Hi there, it seems the width is affecting the home icon. You can set this using the following css in the custom code box. This seems to center the icon better.

li .icon-large:before, li .icon-large:before {

    width: 0.875em;

}

Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues.

For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.

      Hello:

      Is there any way to tweak the <a> tag that surround the logo link in the navbar? I want to add 'id' and 'rel' attributes to it which will aid in helping me achieve a certain effect.

      For example, it's currently:

      <a href="http://brightldn.com/new/">

      I want to change it to:

      <a href="http://brightldn.com/new/#home" rel="m_PageScroll2id" >

      Thanks!

      R

      Hello everyone!

      I'm having an issue with my website (here's the link...screenshot also attached). If you take a look you'll see that the top navigation (the item titled 'Advisory') has one item listed below it ('Case Studies'). That dropdown has additional pages under it, so it's Advisory --> Case Studies --> list of items. The problem is there's a huge vertical gap between the first dropdown option and submenu options. I hope I'm making sense...

      Can you please help me find the CSS selector to align the sub-drop down menu?

      I am running my Word Press blog with Pagelines Platform Free Version and have encountered some difficulties in customizing my home page and the search results page.

      By default, Platform shows 30 most recent posts in the first page of the home page and 30 search results as well in the first page of search results.

      However, the page is too long and I would like to cut the page to only showing 10 results / posts per page.

      There isn't a home.php for me to edit and I have found postloop.php but no luck.

      Does anyone knows how to customize the home page and search results page?

      Thanks in advance.

      Is there a way to get rid of the excerpt on the homepage? I just want to show a thumb and a headline for each post. I can set the excerpt to 1 and it only shows 1 word, but if I set it to 0 it reverts to the default...

      Every time I choose to use the Navbar and one of the links have nest pages, on hover all the nest pages links work however the main page link would not.
      For example on the images attach I would like for the personal training page to be a link aswell ratter than just be a button for only the nest pages of this link.

      Not sure what I am not doing, the classic navigation bar does work normal so why the NavBar does not?
      I tried to create a menu and link that to the bar however the dropdown links of the nest pages does not work with the custom menu.

      I am sure this is an easy thing but I have not been able to solve it.
