Receiving Footer Nav Error

Recommended Posts

I've been running my site on Pagelines for over a year without issue.

Today I noticed that my site isn't displaying properly nor can I sign in via my Admin panel.

I receive the following error message:

Fatal error: fatal flex scanner internal error--end of buffer missed in /home/bpubrat/public_html/coriancountertopstoronto.com/wp-

content/themes/platformpro/sections/section.footer_nav.php on line 72

Not sure what to do. I did rename the Pagelines theme in order to finally get access to my Admin panel. However, this does not solve the issue because I still want to use the PageLines theme and not some generic WordPress theme.

Please help with suggestions.

Have you made any changes to any of the core Wordpress files and Platform Pro core files ?

In that case, it's quite likely one of your plugins has deprecated.

Go through all the plugins you have in Dashboard > Plugins > Installed Plugins and make sure they're all up to date and compatible with WP 3.4.2. Also, check each one to see if it has any complaints about making site's freeze or crash. Check them at http://www.wordpress.org/extend/plugins

Deactivate any that are showing as incompatible or cited as causing problems. Your site will return to normal, however, you must maintain compatibility and replace the broken ones.
