Resolved Banner Ad Next To Site Logo

Hi Guys,

I'm after some 'best practice' advice. I have a banner logo 200px X 100px that I want to sit to the left of my site banner, to the right I need a Banner Ad space (approx 728 x 90)

I have a few ideas about how I could use a universal sidebar above then use css to nudge it down next to the logo. But am interested to hear if theres any better suggestions - or 'better practice' I should use?

Add the following code to Dashboard > Plugins > Editor in the PageLines Customize plugin, inside the functions.php file:

add_action('pagelines_inside_top_branding', 'google_leaderboard_ad');

ADD YOUR Custom Ad Code here
</div>
<?php }

And add the following to Dashboard > PageLines > Site Options > Custom Code in CSS Rules:

#branding .leaderboard {
float: right;
z-index: 10;
position: relative;
}

Let us know how it works, since it's working with Google Adsense on my site.

Living up to your name there OSE. This worked a treat.

I added the code to Dashboard> Appearence > editor in the functions.php file - was this what you meant? Or is there some plugin I should have installed instead?

Hey-- I know this topic is marked as "resolved" but the code Rob provided now show all the single apostrophes as "&#39" -- so if anyone copy and pastes that code into Wordpress, it will crash their entire site. (solution: you'll need to go into your FTP and manually remove the Pagelines customize plugin, then reinstall it, or adjust the code otherwise).
