charliehorse 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2012 I just bought Simplicitate theme and the framework. I installed the framework 2.3.3, then went to the "Store" inside the WP admin and "Installed" the Simplicitate theme. Then I went to "Themes" and "Activated" Simplicitate. However, when I go to my website it looks like the generic PageLines and NOT the Simplicitate theme. Please help.
charliehorse 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2012 Oh wow. I just found this video http://tmeister.net/knowledge-base/simplicitate/installation-simplicitate/ It describes a ton of steps needed to make it look like the sample. So far I am unimpressed, this theme should come installed this way out of the box!
James B 436 Report post Posted October 16, 2012 Hi there, The video attachment shows the full range of features you can setup if you wish your site to look like the demo. If you just install the settings file that comes with the theme once you've installed all the core settings will be there. You'll just have to arrange the various sections/features in the drag and drop and select your chosen color options from the site setup menu. If you require further help or wish to discuss the product further, please contact the developer directly via this link. http://www.pagelines.com/store/themes/simplicitate/ Kindly search the forum and read the documentation before posting. It will help you resolve many issues. For CSS help be sure to check out W3Schools first and be sure to download FireBug for FireFox for troubleshooting.
