Drop Down doesn't work anymore

After a update today, I just find out that the drop down doesn't work anymore.

Before it worked fine, again I checked the option enable drop down navigation in the header and footer site options and also again saved my menu.

Nothing changed.

Please help me out, as I said before it worked great and I had no problems with it.

99.99999% of the time it is a poorly coded plugin including its javascript on admin pages where it is not needed.

Start disabling plugins til you find the one causing it.

I didn't activate any new plugin, before the drop down works great, i disabled contact form, one of the two updates i made yesterday and an update of pagelines framework. Nothing changed according to plugins in the site only some css styling nothing to do with the navmenu.

Are you sure you have the correct menu selected and that there are child menu items?

Hai Simon,

Yes i am sure because i checked and unchecked the drop down in de site settings of pagelines in the header and footer item. I also saved the menu again to be sure it is saved.

As far as i know it is ok, before (for a few months) it worked without no problems. I noticed the error with the drop down after the update of pagelines framework and contact7 form update.

In the pagecode you can see that they are there but the drop down doesn't show them.

Please any suggestions how this is possible??

Yes i referre to the page source in firebug.

i just put the version of pagelines framework before the update of pagelines framework yesterday and now it works again.

So for me the problem is in the latest update pagelines framework, because i didn't change anything else.

So please take a look because i have to update again.

Hai Simon,

Sorry for my solution (re-upload the version before the update) but that whas the last thing i could try and it seems to work. I also realy don't know what js error it has been.

I re updated the framework again and my drop down is not showing again. I didn't change anything just let the update run. I can not influance that part.

After update framework again problem of drop down is there again, so for me it seems to be in the update, because i have nothing changed besite the update of pagelines framework.

Please any support for this problem.

Your nav section is broken, its trying to load js from the wrong url.

Did you upload the sections folder as well?

Hai Simon,

I didn't change anything i have just run the update of pagelines framework again, after i put the backup version of the pagelines framework folder. I didn't delete, change ore add any other folder.

How can i solve this js problem.

The WordPress updater has not updated all the files properly. Download the latest zip from your members area, extract it and upload manually via FTP

Hi,

I'm having the same problem. Dropdown stop working after upgrade.

Although, I use a child theme which seems the problem, because if I switch the Parent theme with update, it works... Sorry I can't tell what is the exact problem, but I'm currently fixing this myself.

I re-upload the theme through FTP. It is working now. I assume something was corrupted when I updated the theme earlier.

      Anything Boxes And Polylang Language Filtering Problem

      Over the last month I had extensive communications with the developer of the (premium) Anything Boxes section (in Pagelines store) (Adam Munns) and the developer of the WP Polylang Multilingual plugin (Frederic Demarle).
       
      This was because the following problem occurred:
      Anything Boxes showed all posts of two languages (Dutch and English) on the respective static frontpages for each language. It should of course have filtered posts for Dutch language on the Dutch frontpage and English on the English frontpage.
       
      The solution to this problem was simple in the end. When duplicating a page for use in another language the settings for Anything Boxes were not copied to the new page and I should have set these settings manually again on the new page. I wasn't aware of this, but it makes sense. Because of this the pages didn't know how to differentiate between posts from different languages.
       
      The dev of Polylang told me that Polylang is currently smart enough to synchronize metas like Featured images and page templates but it does not work out of the box with metas created by plugins and themes but (according to Frederic) it is rather easy to add them in the list using the filter 'pll_copy_post_metas'.
      He mentions that he is not sure that these 'PageLines Meta Settings' are stored in post meta but that would make sense according to him. He asks if the Pagelines dev team will be interested to support this feature in the future.
       
      I'm also wondering if you will consider adding Polylang translation support for manually editable strings like the 'Read more…' strings in Pagelines Settings.
       
      Well that's of course up to you but I thought to let you know to be able to take this into consideration. I also post this for other users in case they experience the same kind of trouble and are looking for an answer.

      When I insert the following code:
