Resolved Content colour on each page

I have set the content background to transparent on my home page (default template) http://foxhilllivestock.com/ Password: crimson889

However I want the content background on the rest of the pages i.e http://foxhilllivestock.com/about/ to be white. Is there a way of customizing this?

You can use PageLines Meta Settings to change the background colors on a page by page basis. PageLines Meta Settings is located on the page editor (below the HTML/Text editor).

Under Page Setup in this it only gives the option to change the background image not the content area. My aim is to have the home page transparent and the rest of the pages will have an image background and the content area will be white.

You'll have to use CSS in order to do this. You can put the page id before the css to only affect that particular page. Something like the below, change the id's to suit.

.page-id-2 #content-area {background: #ffffff;}

Thanks I'm a complete beginner is there guide somewhere how to do this in case I mess things up! I'll probably set the content default to white and just change the home page to transparent.

I have tried to apply this to the homepage. I've set the rest of the pages to white content area are it's only the homepage I want transparent

and there's no changes showing up?
