Upgrading to 2.3 + e-commerce

I am currently using the old version of Platform Pro on http://www.black-atlantic.com

I am in the process of building a new website http://www.strong-look.co.uk/wordpress

I am looking into e-commerce options for the new site (I have researched the Shopp plugin, etc). Can someone please explain the options for this available via 2.3 (and any requirements)?

I am hoping to have a site that looks something like this:

Is this possible? Am assuming I need to customise either box or potentially carousel settings, but not quite sure of the best place to start

Hello,

There is a Jigoshop integration for PageLines Framework (this is an e-commerce solution). Please see here for more information: https://jigoshop.com/. You should be able to get a similar look as that website and I don't think you'd to use the box or carousel settings to do that.
