Linking pagelines site to already existiing homepage.

Hi

I'm working on a website where I have a home page built already separate from pagelines. Basically I want to build the rest of the site in pagelines but keep the home page separate (not built in pagelines). Is there a way to do this so that the site runs seamlessly and I can still connect all the pages? I assume I'll have to install pagelines in the root folder, so I need to be sure that the home page stays at index.html but then the rest of the site runs through the site I build in pagelines. Sorry if this is confusing I'm having trouble explaining it but I think you get the idea. Thanks for any help!

You can create a folder in your root installation like www.yourdomain.com/wp and install WordPress and PageLines there.

Then your index page will remain outside WordPress. Use a simple menu item to bring people back and forth.
