Resolved Format 2 Different "Boxes" on a Page

I would like to have two different box groups on one page. The first will show 2 boxes, the second, 3. The first will draw from one box set, the second will draw from a different set. The first is in the content area, the second is in Morefoot.

I can't see how I can choose which group to format. On my web page back end, there's only one Meta Settings for Boxes; I don't know which group it will format.

Have you already tried adding a box to two different box sets (by adding it to two different categories)? That way, that one box can show up in those different box sets (not sure if this will work, but it doesn't hurt to try).

Catrina, I don't want the same boxes in each group. The top group (of 2) will hold only 2 different boxes, so they never change. The lower group (of 3) will hold random ads. So I'm pulling from a different set for each group, and each group has different parameters.

Simon, I did create the two groups by cloning ... now I need to figure out how to style each clone.

I'm hoping I overlooked something very obvious ... it's been that kind of day.

A loned section will have a special group like clone_1 or something, you can find it with firebug.

I still am not getting the concept here ... maybe my brain just needs a vacation.

All I want is 2 boxes from Category A in title order AND 3 boxes from category B in random order on the same page. How do I get that?

Hi,

Login to your Wordpress Admin Dashboard > PageLines > Drag and Drop > Select the template you wish to use and then drag and drop the Boxes section to your Active Sections area.

Once this is completed, click on the option mini box that appears next and click Clone. This will clone the Boxes section so that you now have two of them.

Now go to Wordpress Admin Dashboard > Pages > Select the page you wish to have two boxes active on. In the Page Attributes area on the right, in the drop down select the template you cloned the boxes.

Now click Save/Publish.

When the Page refreshes, scroll down to the PageLines Meta Settings, you should now see x2 Box setting panels. You can now use these two setting panels, to configure your Boxes.

Thanks, Danny, his solved it!

The problem was that I had one set in the Content area, and one in Morefoot. When I changed my template to have two sets in content, I got the page's Meta for two box groups.
