All comments showing on all pages!

All comments ever made on my site show up below every Page (not posts). I removed Comments from the standard template content section via Drag-and-drop, which fixed it. But it's not supposed to be like that, is it?

Any idea what's causing this?

Hello,

Comments left on posts shouldn't appear on pages. The comments needed to be disabled in the standard template content section for a page template in order to not appear.

Yeah, the issue is that they do.

The comments needed to be disabled in the standard template content section for a page template in order to not appear.

Disabling comments on the standard template content section means that you can't show comments on Pages or?

That's not an issue with standard wordpress, so it seems like a bug with Pagelines to me.

I meant that comments that are made by visitors in posts shouldn't appear on pages, but I see what you mean now. Comments can be added to pages, but you'd need to remove them from the template in Drag & Drop in order for them to go away on pages.

      I know this does not have anything to do with Pagelines directly but this is happening on my PL5 site.  At the bottom of my blog posts I have put the Facebook Comments Plugin and it works well but when people are leaving comments they are the same for every post.  Does anyone have any idea on how to solve this so the comments are for the post they are on.  Does that make sense? Ha!

      I have found that many of the components, especially lists, do not work in the Edge browser. 
      For example https://nkdagility.com/ has 6 video boxes that only render in Chrome and do not show in Edge.

      On my site www.modishmel.com I'm seeing the "blog post title" within the "pins" plugin section breaking words into multiple lines. See screenshot attached.
      Only seeing it in Firefox. Can you help?

      "Sync Loaded Item" in Platform 5 templates won't stay checked

      I haven't figured out how to get the "Sync Loaded Item" option in templates menu of Platform 5 to stay checked. It doesn't give me an option to save settings when I select it, and when I select it then click off the editor, it unselects. Also if I select it before loading a template, it doesn't stay checked there either.  Whats going on?

      WordPress 4.7.1 Uploading SVG bug

      WordPress 4.7.1 was released on 11th January.
      It introduced a new bug that stops certain filetypes from being uploaded.
      This bug unfortunately stops users from uploading SVGs with the Platform 5 builder.
      In the meantime if you need to upload an SVG or have any other image upload issues then please try this plugin that bypasses the mime checks that were introduced.
