Resolved Another phone number in the branding section post

I have the base them installed and have the following in the functions file:

and this in the style.css file

.brand_phone h3 {

font-size: 1.3em;

padding: 0 0 0.4em;

}

I'd like to have the phone number have the same style as <h3> and be lined up just to the left of the social icons with logo, the phone number and the social icons all aligned at the bottom just above the menu bar.

What do I need to do differently?

I've checked the link you've provided but I can't see the hook active on the site. Could you make the hook active so we can go in and work out the required CSS for you?

To add another phone number below the one you have right now and you want it to have the same style as <h3>, you'll need to use this <div> layer code in the hook (using the selector from your CSS):

<div class="brand_phone">PHONE NUMBER HERE</div>[/CODE]

Here was what worked in the end. The suggestion on absolute position didn't really work on mobile devices. This worked to put a text phone number (and presumably other text as well) the left of the social sharing icons in the header.

Add this to the functions.php base theme file:

add_action('pagelines_branding_icons_start', 'brand_phone');

				 function brand_phone(){ ?>

<h3 class="phoneRight">(123) 555-1212</h3>

<?php

}

And then this to the style.css base them style sheet:

.phoneRight {

float: left;

}
